Will

Hi everyone! My name is Will and I have recently graduated from Oxford University with a First Class Honours degree in Politics, Philosophy, and Economics. I studied at New College, where I was an academic scholar specialising in Economics and Politics, where I received the highest mark in my graduating cohort in one of my Economics modules.

Prior to this, I attended a non-selective state school - where I studied Maths, Economics and Chemistry for A-Level - and during this time I had my own private-tutor. I saw my grades significantly improve as a result of this one-on-one teaching, so I understand first-hand how beneficial a tutor can be. Whilst attending Oxford, I had weekly tutorials with a tutor and another student which provided much more personalised teaching, where I again felt the benefits of having this support.

I believe my own educational journey paired with my past successful tutoring experience will help me work with students to improve their grade, increase their confidence, or secure a place at a top university!

I always make sure to go at the student's pace and focus my teaching to whatever suits their learning style best! Some students prefer having in-person classes where we physically can look over work, whilst others respond better to virtual learning. I am happy to accommodate whatever style suits you as a student best, and always make sure to go at a pace that you find comfortable!

I have worked with over 30 students teaching over 200 hours of lessons. I have taught a variety of lessons -- from A-Level Economics to PPE mock interviews (with 3 of my students getting Oxbridge offers), and I would be happy to help in any way that best suits you!
