Sasha

Hello! My name is Sasha, and I have recently graduated from St Hugh’s College, University of Oxford where I read BA Ancient and Modern History. I was an academic scholar and developed a particular interest in the Early Imperial Roman Empire and the Islamic Golden Age. I achieved 4 A* at A-Level in Mathematics, History, English Literature and Philosophy and Theology, along with 11A*s at GCSE.

As a tutor, I aim to create a positive learning environment that encourages students to engage with the material. I tailor my approach to the individual needs and abilities of the student, structuring lessons and questions to suit their learning style. I have also received a TEFL (Teaching English as a Foreign Language) qualification which helps me communicate effectively with students from diverse backgrounds. My aim is to help students not only improve their grades but also develop confidence and passion in the subjects they are studying!

I have had a wide range of tutoring experience, from guiding students through the university admissions process, particularly to the universities of Oxford and Cambridge, to providing subject assistance to a variety of students. I have loved having the opportunity to guide students from various backgrounds and my focus is always ensuring that students feel confident to show how brilliant they really are! I am so excited to be in Hong Kong and to be working with students here.
